Verse 1
Above the throne of God on high,
Two seraphim in splendor fly,
And each to each, they raise the cry,
"The LORD of hosts is holy!"

Verse 2
With wings they cover up their feet,
Lest they should tread before His seat,
And by this rev'rence they repeat,
"The LORD of hosts is holy!"

Verse 3
Two wings conceal each seraph head
Before His majesty and dread,
And so three times the word is spread:
"The LORD of hosts is holy!"

Verse 4
May we take part in their refrain
And serve without reproach or stain,
Till word and deed both make it plain:
"The LORD of hosts is holy!"
